Casino begins 30th anniversary year with 100% Kylie
THE Reef Hotel Casino will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026 with a year-long program of entertainment, promotions and special events, marking three decades since the complex opened on 31 January 1996.
The celebrations will launch with the return of one of the venue’s most popular shows, 100% Kylie – billed as the world’s No.1 Kylie show – across two nights at the end of January.
The live and free performances will take place on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 January on the BAR36 stage.
Marketing and entertainment manager Bruce Stewart said the anniversary celebrations would draw on themes from both the 1990s and the 1930s.
“We are starting the year with glitz, glamour, diamonds and ‘pearls’, a nod to the 30s and the 90s and really have fun with entwining various themes, events, promotions and entertainment throughout 2026,” he said.
“100% Kylie is the perfect show to launch the year with a stylish bang.”
100% Kylie stars world-renowned impersonator Lucy Holmes, who has performed more than 1000 concerts across 18 countries over 20 years and has been endorsed by Kylie Minogue as the ‘best Kylie act in the world’.
The show features replica costumes, dancers, a live band, multimedia displays on the BAR36 giant LED screen and audience interaction, with performances of songs including ‘Step Back in Time’, ‘Spinning Around’, ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ and ‘The Locomotion’.
Saturday’s anniversary celebrations will begin earlier in the day with activities across the complex, including food and beverage specials and casino promotions. These include $5 meals in Flinders, the Casino Hot Seat promotion, the signature cocktails, the Pearl and appearances by showgirls throughout the day.
Live entertainment will also feature local performers, with Mr Chris Lloyds appearing at 5.30pm, followed by Mr Tony George at 7.30pm, ahead of the Kylie tribute show starting at 9pm on both Friday 30 and Saturday 31 January.
